Woke up at 7
Who schedules class at 8 anyway
Hardly enough time to brush my teeth
Let alone change
I put my to-go mug under the keurig
At an uncomfortably angled tilt
Turn to grab a banana
SPLOOSH
There it goes
2 minutes to the bus
But 3 minutes to make another cup
Hardly conscious
How am I going to get through class without caffeine
Something I haven’t gone without in months
I’ll fall asleep on the bus
In class
The panic is heightened
Maybe if I run I’ll have time to grab some at Starbucks
I don’t
It’s definitely the end of the world
A 20 year old college student is left without her coffee
